For Guests
Are you ready to enter the magical world of Bollywood cinema? We look forward to celebration and fun at Hotel Murano Pavilion on Saturday, October 17, at 6:30 pm, when the red carpet sweeps you into the lush romance and exciting world of Indian Cinema.

Parking

You may park for free in the Republic Parking Garage directly across from the Hotel Murano Pavilion on 13th street. If you park elsewhere and enter through the hotel lobby, you will need to go to the fourth floor and exit to the right of The Bite restaurant to enter into the Pavilion Courtyard.

VIP Champagne Toast
If you have received an invitation to our V.I.P. cocktail party, please plan to arrive between 5:45 and 6 p.m. This event is primarily for sponsors of the event.

Schedule
At 6:30 pm doors will open for all guests. You will enjoy a signature cocktail and other special surprises while you browse our Art Sale with over 30 Northwest artists represented.

At 7:30 pm you will be ushered into the ballroom for a delicious meal, entertainment, and a live auction (4mg PDF file of the auction program) with 18 items.

Around 9:30 pm the award-winning Kim Archer Band will begin, and we will dance the night away until midnight.

Dress
Black tie with Bollywood Flair. Enjoy the evening as an Indian cinema star! Spice it up and break loose with East-Indian inspired dress details. This is a perfect chance to wear jewel tones, bangles, brightly colored neck scarves, gold and copper metals, and sandals.

Menu
Beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks will be hosted until dinner. When dinner starts the bars will transition to no-host, but wine will be provided for each table (compliments of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance) and there will be additional bottles of wine for sale.

The menu includes appetizers such as vegetable samosas, pakora, and coconut shrimp and papaya skewers. The entrée is filet mignon with a curry demi, along with shrimp vindallo skewers, saffron basmati rice, and truffled garbanzo beans along with delicious Indian salads. Save room for a special dessert of almond cake with raspberry coulis and white chocolate mousse served on top of kiwi and strawberry coulis.

Thank you for supporting Tacoma Art Museum and joining us for our glamorous Bollywood evening.
