Tacoma Art Museum continues its monthly Second Tuesdays series, tailored to active adults. The second Tuesday of each month, adults 65 and older, as well as active and retired military personnel, receive reduced museum admission of $3.25. Second Tuesdays feature special programs every month, typically lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops followed by a docent-led tour of an exhibition related to the day's topic. Visitors are welcome to come for all or part of the day's events. Although the programs are designed for older adults, everyone is welcome. All programs begin at 10:30 am. A docent-led tour follows every event, beginning at 1 pm.
