Museum Expansion:
Intersection of Art and Community

A place of civic and regional pride, Tacoma Art Museum is at the heart of the South Sound’s vibrant arts scene. It serves as a gathering place for events and exhibitions and is the nexus for conversation about art.

For generations, our many generous donors have kept the museum alive and vibrant. To ensure that our museum remains an extraordinary institution serving the region for the next 75 years, we are raising $17 million. A culmination of many years of reflection and planning, this campaign will transform the museum, secure its future, and create a public legacy for years to come.

An investment in Tacoma Art Museum grows exponentially; benefitting our children, community, and the future.

Your support ensures the vitality of the museum and will help us feed the inner artsy of generations to come. We are pleased to announce that the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust has awarded us $400,000 to use as matching funds to close our campaign. Every dollar you give through this campaign will be doubled.
