Tacoma Art Museum joins other local museums in staying open late (5–8 pm) and free to the public on the third Thursday of every month. Enjoy all of our exhibitions, as well as additional programming and entertainment.

Internationally acclaimed artist Zhi LIN reflects on his unique artistic process that culminated in the exhibition Zhi LIN: In Search of the Lost History of Chinese Migrants and the Transcontinental Railroad. Lin and Hushka discuss the impact of abstract work, thematic threads through Lin’s work, and the power of art to affect positive social change.
After the conversation, get a glimpse into Lin’s art-making process with a demonstration by the artist and experiment with Chinese art-making media.
This program is free and open to the public.
