The eagerly awaited regional survey NW Art Now @ TAM (formerly called Northwest Biennial) is on view May 14 through September 4, 2016. It presents 24 artists from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, with 47 works in a wide range of media – from neon installations to video projection and audio experiences, paintings to sculptures, and more. Eleven of the works were created to debut at this exhibition. These artists are changing what Northwest art looks like!
Be among the first to see these works at a special, exceptionally vibrant Member’s Opening Celebration. Mingle with the artists and celebrate their work. Hear a presentation from the exhibition’s co-curators, TAM’s Rock Hushka and Juan Roselione-Valadez of the Rubell Family Collection and Contemporary Arts Foundation. Kick up your heels to a live band. Pose for memorable souvenirs at the 1000 Words photo booth. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and the first chance to sip Harmon Brewing Co.’s custom NW Nauhaus ESB, crafted in honor of the exhibition.
