Western Fest Free Community Festival
February 17, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Dust off your cowboy boots and mosey on down to TAM’s Western Fest for an all-ages, fun-filled day inspired by the Haub Family Collection of Western American Art. Explore five NEW exhibitions, create western-themed art, hear authentic cowboy poetry, take in western music, food, and more!

This program is FREE and open to the public.

Schedule of Activities

Noon to 12:30 pm – Buffalo Soldiers Presentation

1 to 2 pm – Music from The Cottonwood Cutups

2 pm – Cowboy Poetry by Lynn Kopelke

2:30 pm – Native American Storytelling by Roger Fernandes

3 to 4 pm – Music from The Cottonwood Cutups

  • Booth with Artifacts from The Buffalo Soldiers of Seattle
  • Northwest Animal Sketching and Touchable Specimens with the Slater Museum of Natural History
