Visit the Seattle workspaces of a collector and an artist and get a first look at their newest creations!
Collect 21NW, an art acquisition and travel group, will visit the home of Edie Adams and learn about her collection of Northwest art and studio art jewelry. Adams will share stories about the beginnings and evolution of her collection as well as her interest in Northwest and nationally prominent artists.
After a light lunch, the group will meet at the downtown Seattle studio of Debora Moore. This nationally-acclaimed artist transforms glass into magnificent plant forms, using glass for subtle metaphors for beauty and fragility. For Collect 21NW, Moore will provide the first public insight into her newest body of work, a large-scale installation that will be part of TAM’s inaugural exhibitions of the Rebecca and Jack Benaroya Wing.
