DESCRIPTION:Craft unique\, custom buttons using colorful magazine clippings! We will layer colors to design beautiful miniature imagined landscapes inspired by a favorite book\, a beloved show\, or a cherished place you’ve visited. \nCreative Aging (50+) is a free monthly program designed to inspire and connect. Each session offers enriching gallery conversations centered on current exhibitions\, hands-on art workshops\, and welcoming community time. Open to adults aged 50 and over\, the program nurtures creativity\, supports well-being\, fosters meaningful friendships\, and deepens personal connections to the Tacoma Art Museum’s collection and the vibrant work of regional artists. It is held once each month. \n\nWhat to Expect\n\nLight walking in gallery\nSit-down art activity\nWheelchair & walker accessible\n\nPay-What-You-Can\nThis event uses a pay-what-you-can model so everyone can participate\, regardless of financial circumstance. You decide the contribution that feels right for you—starting as low as $0. \nWhen reserving tickets\, enter your preferred donation amount per ticket and select how many you’d like. Care partners are welcome\, please register an extra seat. \nYour contribution directly supports the Tacoma Art Museum’s education programs and future community events.
