Wizards, Heroes, Dragonmen! Rogues, Rangers and Huntresses! We all want to have awesome dynamic drawings for our RPG characters, and this workshop will help you envision your character in all of their glory.
We’ll set up the water color paint, colored pencils, pens, and paper, for you to make your RPG character sparkle with magic. All you need to do is bring your artist’s eye and sense of creative fun! Don’t already have a character to draw? We’ll make a few for you on the spot, so you can draw the greatest adventurer you can imagine.
Basic character design principles will be discussed. We will use several different techniques to make dynamic poses, strong costumes, and fun character quirks that will help participants create lively characters that can be used in any space, fantasy game, or creative work.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials (sketchbooks, paints, brushes, etc.), however, Tacoma Art Museum will provide all necessary supplies.
Join the workshop and start creating!
