On Wednesday September 2, get ready for the Tacoma Chinese Moon Festival happening on September 12! Learn about the festival while taking a peaceful moment to needle-felt the moon over the autumn tides.
Creative Aging (50+) is a free monthly program designed to inspire and connect. All materials are provided, and no prior art experience is necessary. Pre-registration is encouraged to help us prepare supplies. This program is free of charge and open to adults aged 50 and older. Each session offers enriching gallery conversations centered on current exhibitions, hands-on art workshops, and welcoming community time. Open to adults aged 50 and over, the program nurtures creativity, supports well-being, fosters meaningful friendships, and deepens personal connections to the Tacoma Art Museum’s collection and the vibrant work of regional artists. It is held once each month.
