Project NW: David Hytone: The Lee Shore

Embarking on a new approach to his ‘tchotchke’ series, Tacoma-based artist David Hytone presents "The Lee Shore," a site-specific installation combining paintings with sculptural elements, ballasts and mechanisms. Hytone’s playful approach to scale and methods of presentation amplify the themes of nostalgia and absurdity.

This exhibition is organized by Ellen Ito, Curator of Collections and Special Projects. The exhibition is part of Project NW, a series devoted to artists of the region.
