On Native Land: Landscapes from the Haub Family Collection

On Extended View
When you see a landscape painting, what do you think about? Do you consider the cultural history of the land? On Native Land: Landscapes from the Haub Family Collection invites visitors to explore different ways to understand landscape paintings. Each landscape is paired with a land acknowledgment recognizing more than 75 different Native American communities whose homelands are pictured. Through in-gallery and online resources, learn more about land acknowledgments and how these places from across the country are vital and important for these Native American communities.

This exhibition is made possible through the generous support of the Haub Family Endownment. Additional funding provided by ArtsFund and Tacoma Creates.
