iPhone and iPad Instructions

Install the “DropVox” App by Irradiated Software

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Search for “DropVox“
  3. Download the DropVox app ($1.99 – you will be reimbursed)
  4. Launch the app
  5. A prompt will appear the first time you launch the app that says “DropVox Would Like to Access the Microphone.”  Select OK

Sync the DropVox app to TAMs DropBox Account

  1. Open the DropVox app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Touch the blue circular Dropbox icon on the home screen
    • A login prompt will appear asking for DropBox login details
    • If you already have a DropBox account, choose the option at the bottom of the screen that reads “use a different account“
  3. Use the following DropBox login details:
  4. A prompt will appear telling you that DropVox would like access to DropBox.
  5. Select “Allow”

Setting up the DropVox App

  1. Select the small gear icon at the top right of the app
  2. Turn on the option for  Record in higher quality  (it will turn green to indicate the option is turned on
    • The additional options shown are not required to be on
  3. Choose done  (top left of the screen)

Testing the APP

  • Go to a quiet location (the location you plan on recording your interview is preferred)
  • Launch DropVox and record a short clip of yourself speaking your name and phone number
  • A message will appear at the bottom of the app that reads  “Uploading Audio. Please wait.” Allow around 1 minute for this message to disappear
  • A representative from TAM will call within 1-2 business days to let you know we have received your recording
  • If we do not receive a recording at least 1 week prior to your scheduled interview, we will call with assistance
