Creative Aging (50+) at TAM is a free monthly program designed to inspire and connect. Each session offers enriching gallery conversations centered on current exhibitions, hands-on art workshops, and welcoming community time. Open to adults aged 50 and over, the program nurtures creativity, supports well-being, fosters meaningful friendships, and deepens personal connections to the Tacoma Art Museum’s collection and the vibrant work of regional artists. It is held on the 1st Saturday of each month.*Light Walking in Gallery + Sit Down Art Activity

July’s art and exhibition focus is Monarch Butterfly (Yoshiko Yamamoto, born Tokyo, Japan, 1967) from the exhibition, Echoes of the Floating World. Our project will be gel printmaking.
