Community Art Class: Drawing Dynamic Landscapes
October 16 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Join a community of fellow artists in this immersive workshop designed to help you create landscapes that captivate and communicate. In Drawing Dynamic Landscapes, you’ll learn how to observe and compose environments that engage your audience—whether you’re working from photo references, found objects, or abstract forms.

Through guided exercises and group discussion, you’ll:

  • Explore techniques for building vivid, expressive settings
  • Learn composition formulas that bring balance and movement to your work
  • Discover how to arrange and render elements to guide the viewer’s eye
  • Uncover the stories hidden within your landscapes

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sketching materials (sketchbook, pencils, pens, markers, etc.), as well as landscape photos or sketches to use during the session. If you’ve attended previous classes in this series, feel free to bring past work to build on earlier lessons. TAM will provide 8.5 x 11 paper, pencils, and pens.

The cost for this community art class is $65.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your creative toolkit, this class offers a welcoming space to learn, share, and grow alongside other passionate artists.
