TAM Store Highlight – Victory Garden Yarn

For nearly ten years, crochet wunderkind Anna Sharp has been creating beautiful, handmade textiles under the Victory Garden Yarn brand. Originally a hobby she learned from her mother, Anna began making scarves, hats, and gloves for family and friends before devoting herself to the craft fulltime in 2010. The entire production started along one wall, in a very tiny city apartment. From humble beginnings, Anna now tends the Victory Garden plot in a dedicated studio space in Seattle, surrounded by artists and makers of all varieties.

The Victory Garden Yarn line incorporates inspiration from across the region to create something decidedly Pacific Northwest. Stay warm with the Skipjack Cowl, the perfect combination of functionality, style, and warmth. These versatile scarves are sure to keep you cozy whether you’re braving the elements in the dead of winter or just trying not to freeze in an air conditioned office. Pair the Skipjack Cowl with the classic Wisteria Hat or the new Brackish Hat. Both caps are hand-knit in a blend of lambswool and acrylic and come in over thirty colors so you’re sure to find one that suits your style.
