Drawing Dynamic Figures

Bring Your Characters to Life: Master Dynamic Figure Drawing

Want your characters to leap off the page? This class will help you infuse energy and personality into every pose. Through anatomy basics, keen observation, and body awareness, you’ll learn how to feel the movement in your own body and translate that into expressive, dynamic figures.

Discover how rhythm, gravity, and balance create compelling silhouettes, and explore bold compositional angles that add drama and storytelling to your work. Whether you’re sketching superheroes or slice-of-life scenes, you’ll leave with techniques to make your drawings vibrant, believable, and full of life.

Painting in Contrasts

Contrast brings energy to your artwork—and in Painting in Contrasts, you’ll learn how to harness it to create visually compelling landscapes that guide and excite the viewer’s eye. This dynamic, hands-on workshop explores how contrast can be used to build focal points, evoke emotion, and enhance engagement through thoughtful design.

Together, we’ll dive into nine creative techniques for using contrasting elements to elevate your paintings. Whether you’re new to the series or continuing from a previous class, this is a welcoming space to grow your skills and connect with fellow artists.
