Family Explorer Packs
Borrow a free Family Explorer Pack filled with tips for looking at two works of art, touchable materials to explore, and a picture book to read together. Families are invited to explore the galleries at their own pace, and the packs are designed to be completed in 15 to 30 minutes.
Current Family Explorer Packs include:

- Portraits: inspired by Native Portraiture: Power and Perception
- Brushes & Paper: inspired by Familiar Faces & New Voices: Surveying Northwest Art
Family Explorer Packs are part of a partnership between Tacoma Art Museum and Children’s Museum of Tacoma to provide arts experiences for families with early learners. Learn more about this partnership here.
